Rehoming your pit bull can be a very difficult task. Many shelters do not adopt out pit bulls. Please be sure that you have exhausted every effort before you make this painful decision. If you still feel you cannot keep your pet, please contact any of the agencies listed below:

There are a few rescue organizations in Marion County, but they generally do not accept owner surrendered dogs. They generally have very limited space as well.
If you can keep your dog for a short period of time, please contact Bully Buddys about our criteria for posting your bully in our "courtesy posting" section. WE ARE NOT A RESCUE AND MAKE NO GUARANTEE OF FINDING YOUR BULLY A NEW HOME. We can, however, provide you with resources on placing your bully in a new home.
